We've been coming here for about a year and half now. We live in Orem and trust me, no tacos out there have met the same standard in taste as Tacos Lopez. Yeah, we tried them all, and the 30 minute drive is well worth it. We know what our tacos will taste like, the Al pastor and Lengua here are the best I've had (coming to you from CA native). We've only been Utah 6 years and these are by far the best tacos out here. Don't get me started on the quesadilla de tortilla de maiz ???????? that shizz is so freaking good. Just my humble opinion ????.

Food was excellent. No frills, no extras, simple menu. Crowded the entire time we were there. Evidence we were not alone in our appreciation of the food.

Praise the Lord these Al pastor tacos are on god tier! They are definitively the best in the valley and most likely the state. I have reoccurring dreams about these tacos. Make sure to get some grilled onions and peppers on the side. If you come during lunch you will be joined with half the residents in the area. This is how you know they are next level! Bien hecho!

I definitely would recommend this Mexican restaurant. Besides of what I noticed with respect to the way how they let the customers that their lunch is ready to pick up from the kitchen and the space is not that wide enough, but the food taste was amazing. I fully enjoyed the combination of flavors. I ordered a cabeza quesadilla with everything but spice and it was one of the best quesadillas I ever tried at a very nice price. Recommended ????

As a Mexican living in utah, one can imagine how hard it is to find good authentic Mexican food. Well this is the place. I can’t even tell you what a good time to come is because it’s always packed. The atmosphere is electric and MOST importantly, the food is BEYOND. They specialize in tacos and they do it better than anyone else. It will take a minute for your food to come but I promise it’s worth it.

These are the best, most flavorful tacos I’ve had in Salt Lake City. We’ve been back many times. The Al pastor here is by far the best I’ve tasted anywhere. They have a good condiments bar but honestly one of the things I like best about this place is you don’t need to add anything if you don’t want to. The tacos, quesadillas, and other items are already loaded. Tip: it gets busy - consider putting your order in on their app on the drive over there.

Fantastic tacos. This place is always busy. Expect a line and a wait. The tacos are big and tasty. There is some indoor and some outdoor seating. We've been told that sometimes you have to wait to sit. This place is popular with the late night crowd. We tried all the tacos and quesadillas. Both delicious.

I regret not finding them sooner. Amazing street tacos that are both delicious and affordable, which didn’t seem possible in 2024. Great flavor on the asada and suadero but everything looked fantastic. The kitchen toppings add extra dimension and were good in their own right. You can get grilled onions, jalapeños, and more. They have a diverse picante bar where each sauce brings something different. The sauces were great and just made the tacos that much better. Counter style service can take some time when busy but they get the food out and it’s well worth it. Fantastic option that has some of the best tacos in the valley and certainly the best in the area.

I highly recommend Taco Lopez Tijuana Style for their amazing tacos and exceptional service. You won't be disappointed!

I just wish they would open a location closer to where I live, preferably East of I-15 on 90th South. That would be a great location, near the RLS stadium! This is by far my favorite taco place!
